IMTT, International-Martex Tank Terminal, is a facility dedicated to receiving crude oil from petroleum production offshore Newfoundland for transshipment to major reining centers in North America.

• Hyflodraulic was contracted to assess the ongoing problems with the FMC Loading Arms Phase 1.
• We found 14 installation and design faults with the hydraulic systems.
• We redesigned the the system to correct the problems.
• We were then contracted to modify and implement these changes
• In April 2000, we were awarded a contract on Phase 2 to define the scope of work, install , commission and implement the modifications we had identified in Phase 1.
• Our recommended maintenance and performance procedures have also been implemented and we have been contracted to perform these tasks

Since 1998, through the Newfoundland Service Alliance, we have provided specialized hydraulic services to the Hibernia platform.

Gas Turbine hydraulic starter system diagnostic investigation

• Recommended and implemented modification to the system due to the premature failing of components
• Installed online diagnostic testing panel to assist in troubleshooting of the system
• Provide hot oil flushing of the hydraulic and lube systems, starter rebuilding, control system re-building and spare parts recommendation and supply
• Starter upgrade which required a MOC, replacing the problematic Vicker-Eaton Aerospace starter to our recommended Hillard clutch / Rexroth Motor combination.

Designed and manufactured a crane cable replacement spooling winch.

• Reduced personnel required for a cable change out from 14 to 4
• This task can now be completed in 30 minutes as opposed to 24 hours
• Our winch was designed with safety as a priority and every feature and component was carefully selected with safety in mind

Liebherr crane troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance recommendations, pump and motor re-manufacturing.

• Recommending life cycle usage and successfully overhauling of both the east and west crane components. Supply of one complete set of components available for spares and preserved in the warehouse
• Modification, component selection, overhaul and testing of 27 existing Well head control modules and the complete manufacturing and testing of 10 new units complete with the recommendation component replacements.
• Emergency generator start system modifications, supply and installation.
